Whatever happened to the preparation of the FESR Nominal Roll? In 2006 it was stated on this site it would be prepared after the Vietnam Roll, which has now been finished, but I have heard nothing since. Is it to be ignored by the Government?

I am making a documentary about my family, and my father Maurie George Waters was in the Strategic Reserve in 1960/1 on the Torbruk, he was a clearance diver and served in Malayan Confrontation. I am looking for any other service personal that served in Malayan Emergency during the time my father was there, and would be prepared to be interviewed for the documentary. many thanks Moz, Maurie Allan Waters, his son. 0249725804

A HMAS Voyager All Crews reunion is being held in Brisbane this weekend (12th/13th Feb 2011) The special Church Service commencing 0900 hrs is being held at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Kangaroo Point, Brisbane. Fr. John Brooker (ex Voyager crew) and Fr. Bill Pearson are among those officiating at this service which will also include the unveiling of a Voyager plaque and consecration of a newly commissioned Voyager Memorial flag kindly donated by Rear Admiral Rothesay Swan AO, CBE, RAN (Retd). The flag will hang permanently in the Warrior Chapel of the Church. All are invited to attend this Service.

HMAS Voyager memorial service WA 10th Feb 2011

This notice appeared in Monday's West Australian : VLSVA will conduct a HMAS Voyager memorial service for members, families and friends at the HMAS Voyager memorial seat, Kings Park (entry via Saw Avenue) on Thursday February 10th at 10am. Medals to be worn. Afterwards at Black Tom's, 27 Ord Street, West Perth. All welcome. Contact Tom 94443140 ends..
