A good time had by everyone attending the Ballina All Ships reunion. Weather behaved and plenty of food supplied with many going around the buoy. Met up with many new faces and old one's and now looking forward to next year's gathering. The break away from the usual chores was well rewarded with a very relaxed atmosphere. Several Queenslanders attended the NSW Divison FESR meeting which is always held at these All Ship's reunions in Ballina. A couple of minor mishaps and that was no March this year, but still had our service in the Memorial ground at the Cenotaph and we had no RAN Ship as it was re-deployed. Les SHeehan
I have never been one for reunions of any sort. I did attend the All ships reunion in November. I went in knowing only two couples and left on the Sunday knowing about 30 or so. Same I have never been much for written communication on web sites either. Would you know that I am now active on three Military ones and one Police site. Read more then I submit but find them interesting. As for the Reunion in November I thoroughly enjoyed myself and so did my wife. I am now interested in attending the FESR reunion and the All ships later in November. I could not fault any of the arrangements and the food was spot on. Those Prawns and Oysters never seem to run out. Never know I might even end up being a REUNION Junkie
