On a beautiful summer's day, two English tourists were driving through Wales.

At Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyllllantysiliogogoch :? they stopped for lunch, and one of the tourists asked the waitress,

'Before we order, I wonder if you could settle an argument for us. Can you pronounce where we are, very, very, very slowly?'

The girl leaned over and said, 'Burrr ? gurrr ? king'!

Commonly called Llangoch. When visiting this little village back in 1981 our tour guide asked this 12 year old to come on the bus to pronounced the name she was given a $5 note for the job She waited around for the next tourist bus to pull in and received another $5. Not a bad job for a 12 year old. It was a school day too.
Left the BURR GURR King and maccas alone and went into a pub for lunch. No that is great tucker and good value anywhere in the UK. Pub Grub as we got to know it. Forget what it was but far better then a greesy Burrrrrrr Gurrrrrr King.
